Venom: The Last Dance
Finally, we saw Eddie and his body counterpart, Venom, in the first trailer of “VENOM: THE LAST DANCE.” The third and final installment in the trilogy is set to release on 25th October this year.
And, oh boy, it is filled with easter eggs that will give you goosebumps.
We last saw Venom entering the MCU with Spiderman’s last appearance. The trailer shows us a glimpse of the same setup and the same but aged bartender, but it is still not sure how it will be panned out in the story.
If rumors are to be believed, Venom might be seen protecting a young Peter Parker in this installment, a story arc swept clean from the movie MADAME WEB.
Yes, you heard it right! The trailer shows a glimpse of a young boy, who might be young Peter.
TOXIN! Detective Patrick Mulligan, played by Stephen Graham, was infected by an offshoot of Carnage in the second installment and will be seen playing the righteous villain “TOXIN.”
It was introduced in “VENOM vs CARNAGE,” which debuted in 2004. The symbiote is also affected by the qualities of its host. This might result in him being a villain with the right intentions.
The trailer showcases the spawning of new symbiotes. Several villain symbiotes! Sony is undoubtedly taking this dance to the next level.
Eddie’s new love interest, Patricia Robertson, will be played by Juno. She will be playing Scream in the movie, a mainstay symbiote. The character previously appeared as a boss in the Spiderman 2 PS5 game.
A group of vigilantes called the “JURY” will also hinder Venom’s path in the movie. They are led by Orwell Taylor, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor.
He will be seen avenging the death of his son Hugh. In comics, Hugh was killed by Venom. While in the second movie, Hugh was killed by Carnage during his escape from the prison in the second part.
XENOPHAGE! First appearing in 1996’s “VENOM: THE HUNTED.” Referred, to as his people by Venom in the trailer. These creatures will pose a challenging threat to Venom as they hunt and feed on symbiotes.
As expected, Mrs. Chen returns in this trilogy and will add to the comedy scenes with Eddie.
Interestingly, Rhys Ifans, who played the Lizzard in The Amazing Spiderman film, is in a brief shot, dressed as a Hippie, in the back of a van. I wonder what he’s doing there, and hopefully, there are no fantastic storyline crossways here.
And finally, the VENOM HORSE. Oh, boy! I can’t wait to see this one in the IMAX version
